Anyways, two months ago I found these few videos of Kobukuro’s concert from their Tour in 2004. One of the video is the performance of the song Ring from their major label debut album, Roadmade in 2001.
I like this song a lot and have since tried to look for guitar tabs for this song online. I’ve looked everywhere, English guitar sites, Japanese music sites, non of them has the tabs to this song.
I’ve already started learning it on the guitar about a month ago and finally, couple days ago, I decided to create my own guitar tabs of the song from listening and watching the video.
There are still couple of chords that I’m unsure about, since the video either did not show them playing that chord or the shot was too far that I can’t see the finger positions clear enough. If anyone knows of any mistakes I made or if they can correct me on those chords, please let me know.
Okay, here’s the download for the guitar tabs to the song. One is in plain Text file, and the other is in slightly-formatted PDF.
UPDATED Tabs with corrected chord names and some pluckings on Sept 8, 07.
The previous Text and PDF files I posted here were downloaded 67 and 95 times respectively. Didn’t think there were that many people interested in the tabs.
Anyways, I should have updated this a while back but either I got busy or I’ve procrastinated. Back in June, a friend of mine have gone through the tabs and have corrected the chord names and some of the pluckings in the verses of the song. There are also other major and minor fixes here and there. I’ve only made the formatted PDF file this time because this will ensure that when the tabs are printed, it’ll be nicely paged. I’ve also included the MP3 of the performance in case you still haven’t find the song yourself. Enjoy, fellow Kobukuro fans.
